Important: Your Order Confirmation Email

Please check your order confirmation email thoroughly. If there are any errors or changes please email us immediately.

Note

Changes cannot be made once your order has been shipped.

If you are sending your package to somewhere other than the billing address, both addresses will appear on your Order Confirmation Email.

If you do not receive an Order Confirmation Email you may have entered an incorrect email address. Please email us and we will correct the email address and send you a copy of your order and your order number. 

Order Cancellations

All order cancellations must be emailed or sent in writing. Your order is considered current unless cancelled in writing (via email) by either the customer or Chook Pen Inn.

Pricing

All prices are listed in Australian Dollars. Chook Pen Inn reserves the right to change prices without notice.

Cost of Shipping

In some cases the correct shipping costs may not show at the checkout. Chook Pen Inn will contact you to advise if there is any change to your shipping costs. In this case you will be asked to accept the charge before we ship your order. You may also cancel your order if you wish not to accept the shipping charge.

Product Availability

Chook Pen Inn product availability is updated daily however sometimes items do sell out between this time and when you have placed an order. If items are sold out or if there are any delays we will notify you as soon as possible. 

Payment

Credit Card: we accept Visa, Mastercard credit cards only. 
Other: we also accept Direct Deposit, Australia Post Money Orders, Bank Cheque and Personal Cheque however when paying by these methods goods can only be dispatched when deposits/cheques/money orders have cleared to Chook Pen Inn. Please select your payment method at the checkout. Our payment details are emailed to you with your order confirmation. 
Note: Unpaid Orders – Items are returned to stock when payments are not received within 14 days.

Return and Exchange Policy

Chook Pen Inn provide you with detailed information and descriptions of all products please use this information to choose the correct products to purchase

Chook Pen Inn promise to provide the best products possible, however, if you are in any way unhappy with your purchase we will return/exchange the item/s provided:

  1. Claims for credit must be made within 7 days of receipt of products by the purchaser by emailing chookpeninn@bigpond.com.
  2. All items are returned within 30 days of receipt.  No exchange, credit or refund can be given after 7 days if you have made a wrong decision.
  3. The product(s) must be as new, ie: unused, and in their original packaging and sealed.
  4. Email us chookpeninn@bigpond.com with the following details at hand: your name, invoice number, product name, reason for return and request for replacement, exchange, credit or refund.

Please note: Postage/shipping and handling of products is not refundable. Chook Pen Inn accepts no responsible for loss or damage occurring in transit.
If you have requested a refund, a credit will be issued via the same payment method used within 7 days of receipt of returned goods.

We charge a minimum shipping charge when replacing goods (unless faulty, please read below).

Missing Item, Damaged in Transit or Dead on Arrival

Please ensure you open your parcel, check all items are included and are undamaged Claims for missing or damaged items cannot be accepted after 7 days of receipt. Chook Pen Inn accepts no responsibility for loss or damage occurring in transit.

Products Deemed Faulty

Chook Pen Inn prides itself on quality control and checks all products to the best of its ability before sending them out.

If however you believe you have a product that is faulty, email us as soon as possible during business hours, with your purchase details.

Packages Damaged in Transit 

Chook Pen Inn takes great care when packaging your order and rarely have our packages been damaged in transit. In the unfortunate case that your order does get damaged please note the following: -

Deliveries

We consider any damage or loss of goods on a case-by-case basis but generally Chook Pen Inn accepts no responsibility for loss or damage occurring in transit.

Promotional Emails

By placing an order with Chook Pen Inn you authorise us to send you our promotional emails, and new product updates from time to time. If you do not wish to receive our promotional emails, please reply to your order confirmation with the title 'unsubscribe' in the subject line.

Refusal to supply services or products 

Chook Pen Inn reserves the right to refuse or discontinue supply or services of any products without notice.

Postage Rates 

We ship most orders via Australia Post

For Receipted Post to most areas within Australia the following rates apply. 
Postage is calculated on the gross weight of your order. 
The average shipping cost for most orders is $8.00.

There is a $2.80 surcharge on shipping costs for registered post. If you wish to have the parcel sent unregistered post, please indicate this at checkout.

The above postage costs are approximate. Your shipping costs are shown at the checkout. You can proceed through the checkout to confirm postage costs without placing your order. The very last step in the order process is to confirm or decline placement of your order.

Note: Larger items are measured on the cubic weight and may incur an extra fee. If an extra fee is payable we will contact you to confirm payment before your order is dispatched. You will then have the option of changing or cancelling your order. 

Delivery Time

Chook Pen Inn will ship the next business day providing all items are in stock. 

Please allow 3-7 days for Australia Post Receipted Post deliveries

If there are any delays due to stock levels, Chook Pen Inn will notify you and you have the option of changing or cancelling your order.
